(1) All rights and rights of such landholder will be terminated in relation to the land earned by the raiti, if the landholder has not cultivated the land in the Jhora area where this Act has come into force.
(2) Except as expressly provided in this Act, even if any person has acquired land in the Jhora area by any means before the commencement of this Act, such person shall not acquire land in the Jhora area or be registered in his name after the commencement of this Act.
(3) According to sub-section (1), the government of Nepal shall give the specified compensation to the land owner whose right to the land is terminated, not exceeding five times the amount of the property on that land. But compensation will not be given for any land that has not been registered according to the current Nepalese law.
(4) The land owner shall receive the amount of compensation to be received according to sub-section (3) from the designated office or organization as specified.
